According to Odaily Planet Daily, Tudor Investment, a macro hedge fund founded by billionaire Paul Tudor Jones, holds 688,529 shares of the BlackRock Bitcoin ETF iShares Bitcoin Trust (IBIT), with a market value of approximately $22.9 million as of June 30, an increase of 18.9% from the end of the first quarter, ending a year-long trend of reducing its holdings. Tudor Investment also reduced its holdings of call options linked to IBIT from 998,000 shares to approximately 148,000 shares, a decrease of about 85%, while its put option holdings remained roughly unchanged. The 13F filing did not disclose the option strike price and expiration date. Tudor Investment once held more than 8 million IBIT shares at the end of 2024, and subsequently continued to reduce its holdings. Knaken offered cryptocurrency trading and custody services to Dutch users through an app but did not obtain the licenses required by the country's market regulator.
