SATA purchased a total of 645 bitcoins this week, and Strive is on track to break its single-week purchase record since the merger.
According to Odaily Planet Daily, BitcoinTreasuries.NET reported on the X platform that Strive's SATA raised enough funds today to purchase 177 bitcoins. Wednesday marked the fifth consecutive trading day that SATA traded at par value, the last time this occurred was on May 29th. This week, SATA has purchased a total of 645 bitcoins, and Strive is on track to break its single-week purchase record since the merger.
Better and Coinbase launch Bitcoin-backed mortgage products, allowing borrowers to pay their down payment without having to sell their BTC.
Odaily Planet Daily reports that Better Mortgage, a US mortgage lender, and cryptocurrency exchange Coinbase have announced the launch of a Bitcoin-backed mortgage product, allowing US homebuyers to use BTC as collateral for a down payment loan without having to sell their existing Bitcoin holdings. Applications are now open. The product consists of a Fannie Mae-backed mortgage and a separate down payment loan. Borrowers must pledge BTC worth at least 250% of the down payment loan, with the collateral transferred to Better's escrow account on Coinbase Prime. Both loans have the same interest rate and amortization period and are repaid through single monthly payments. A drop in Bitcoin prices will not trigger margin calls or changes to mortgage terms, but Better may liquidate the pledged BTC if the borrower is more than 60 days late on a payment. Applicants must be US residents and hold a verified Coinbase account. Coinbase One members can also receive a 1% rebate on up to $10,000 to offset settlement costs and fees. (Cointelegraph)
