According to BlockBeats, on August 19th, Telegram founder Pavel Durov announced on his personal channel that Telegram has applied for the ".gram" domain suffix. If the application is approved by the Internet Corporation for Assigned Names and Numbers (ICANN), Telegram's approximately 1 billion users will have the opportunity to obtain their own subdomain.

Durov gave an example, saying that the Telegram username @durov could correspond to durov.gram in the future, and @monk could correspond to monk.gram. Users can also host and create interactive websites on Telegram by entering a single command.

According to BlockBeats, on August 19, Google agreed to acquire some corporate data from Spirit Airlines, a bankrupt airline, for $10 million to improve its products and AI models.

The data includes internal emails, Microsoft Teams chat logs, calendars, spreadsheets, booking and frequent flyer records, as well as marketing, productivity, operations, and employee human resources data. Spirit stated that the data delivered to Google will be anonymized to remove personally identifiable information.

The deal also faces competition. AI data company Mercor previously offered $7.5 million to acquire the data. The transaction still requires approval from the U.S. bankruptcy court, and U.S. Bankruptcy Judge Sean Lane is expected to review the deal on Wednesday.

Spirit Airlines ceased operations in May of this year and is currently selling its remaining assets through bankruptcy proceedings. As AI companies increase their demand for high-quality training data, internal business data is becoming a new type of data asset for AI model training and product optimization.
