The funds for this large bet did not come from new margin deposits, but rather from unrealized profits from its SOL long position. On February 28, the address deposited approximately $470,000 into Hyperliquid to buy SOL at a high leverage with an average price of $78. The following day, SOL rose to $88, and the initial investment more than increased fivefold. This unrealized profit supported the BTC bet, but it also amplified the risk of liquidation for both positions when the price declined.

This address currently holds $150 million worth of ETH, which has been deposited into AAVE.
