Bitcoin has broken through $79,000, with a 2.4% increase in the last 24 hours.
According to BlockBeats, on August 24th, HTX market data showed that Bitcoin broke through $79,000, with a 24-hour increase of 2.4%.
XPeng's robotics division has completed a financing round of over $900 million, setting a new record for the largest single private equity financing in China's embodied intelligence sector. IDG, Tencent, and Alibaba participated in the investment.
According to BlockBeats, on August 24th, XPeng Motors announced that its robotics division has completed its first round of financing, raising over $900 million, bringing its post-investment valuation to over $6.3 billion, setting a new record for the largest single private equity financing in China's embodied intelligence sector. The round was led by IDG Capital, with Tencent and Alibaba participating as strategic investors. Gaorong Capital, an early investor in Momenta and Logic Robotics, also joined the round.
The funds will be used for robot hardware and software development, physical AI model training and optimization, high-quality data acquisition, end-to-end mass production facility construction, and global expansion. XPeng aims to achieve a monthly production of 1,000 IRON humanoid robots by the end of this year, initially deployed in its own retail stores and industrial parks, with commercial sales and delivery starting in China and overseas markets in 2027.
In June, CEO He Xiaopeng announced that he would personally lead the robotics business, pushing humanoid robot development towards mass production. Currently, many automakers are accelerating their entry into the robotics field, and Xpeng's accumulated capabilities in sensors, software, batteries, and supply chain management for intelligent driving are considered core advantages. In April of this year, Shanghai-based embody intelligence startup TARS Robotics completed a Pre-A round of financing exceeding $455 million, which was then considered the largest single private equity financing in China's embody intelligence sector. Xpeng's robotics division has now surpassed this record with over $900 million.
Aethir officially launched its Accelerate program, securing 10 data center sites in the US and Europe, with a target contract value exceeding $2 billion.
Aethir today announced the launch of its ACCELEREATE strategic project, securing the rights to 10 AI data center sites in the US and Europe, with a total capacity of up to 20 megawatts. The company disclosed that the total contract value after the sites are fully completed will exceed $2 billion, with up to $700 million expected to be secured by the end of 2026. The sites support NVIDIA B300 and GB300 clusters, with node sizes ranging from 64 to 256, and deployment cycles measured in months, rather than the years typically required for traditional data centers. Aethir also announced an update to its IDC token economics policy, introducing a burning mechanism and floating platform fees. The Aethir Foundation holds equity in Axe Compute.
