CZ: Even hardware wallets can have vulnerabilities; there is no such thing as 100% security.
According to BlockBeats, on August 1st, Binance founder CZ posted on social media regarding the "Coldcard wallet suspected vulnerability leading to the theft of over $38 million in Bitcoin," stating, "Even hardware wallets can have vulnerabilities. Even long-established wallets can have vulnerabilities. To reduce risk, you might distribute your funds across several wallets? But that introduces another set of risks. Nothing is 100% secure."

According to DeFi Kingdoms, the DFK Chain, based on Avalanche L1, will cease operation on August 28th. The team stated that they will prioritize the secure migration of player assets to the Avalanche C-Chain and plan to release an SDK, allowing third-party developers to build upon DeFi Kingdoms' systems, mechanisms, and assets. Alphabet rolls back AI image generation feature in Google Earth due to policy violations.
According to a Reuters report on August 1st, Alphabet, Google's parent company, said it is rolling back its AI image generation feature launched in Google Earth just one day earlier because user-shared images appear to violate company policies.
This feature, powered by Google’s Nano Banana 2 AI model, allows users to generate realistic images of any location on Earth based on Google Earth satellites, aerial photography, and 3D imagery by entering text prompts.
The tool has been criticized for potentially spreading misinformation because it allows users to create fake scenes over real images of historical sites and landmarks.
Analysis: Bitcoin's current concentration of holdings is similar to that before the FTX collapse, potentially indicating a final drop in the bear market.
According to BlockBeats, on August 1st, crypto analyst Murphy reported that Bitcoin URPD (UTXO Realized Price Distribution) data shows a high concentration of 890,000 Bitcoins at $63,000 and 710,000 at $62,000, totaling approximately 8% of the circulating supply, far exceeding the average level.
Murphy believes that the current data shows a similar level of concentration to that seen before the FTX incident in 2022. High concentration increases the price sensitivity of Bitcoin, making it prone to violent fluctuations and ultimately leading to violent redistribution, which may become an important directional choice at the end of a bear market.
In response, Jiang Zhuoer commented that if the CLARITY bill fails to pass before the congressional recess, Bitcoin may complete its final drop from its bear market bottom.
