Tesla officially introduces Doubao
According to BlockBeats, Tesla China released the 2026.14.13 in-vehicle software update on July 31, covering Model 3, Model Y, Model S, and Model X models.
The rollout began on July 31, 2026, with one of the software updates primarily upgrading "Doubao Big Model": an intelligent voice assistant that not only provides real-time information but also engages in natural and fluent conversations; it supports multiple premium voice options and can be paired with personalized characters such as "Know-It-All," "Music Lover," and "Storyteller." This feature requires activation of premium in-vehicle entertainment services.
Hong Kong-listed Zhipu surged over 22%, while MiniMax rose nearly 13%.
According to BlockBeats, on July 31, Bitget data showed that the Hang Seng Tech Index rose more than 1% intraday, after falling as much as 0.7% previously. The Hang Seng Index was about to turn positive intraday, after falling as much as 1% previously. Zhipu (02513.HK) rose more than 22%, MiniMax (00100.HK) rose nearly 13%, and Alibaba (09988.HK) rose more than 5%.
Coldcard warns of potential seeding risks for its Mk3 hardware wallet; security experts investigate $38.3 million worth of abnormal BTC transfers.
BlockBeats reports that on July 31, Canadian hardware wallet manufacturer Coinkite issued a security warning, advising users of Coldcard Mk3 wallets who generated mnemonic phrases in firmware versions 4.0.1 to 5.0.3 to migrate their assets as soon as possible. The company stated that preliminary analysis shows wallets using BIP-39 passphrases have a lower risk, and Mk4, Q, and Mk5 devices are unaffected. The investigation is ongoing.
Meanwhile, security researchers are investigating an unusual transfer involving 594.48 BTC (approximately $38.3 million). AnchorWatch CEO Rob Hamilton stated that the attacker transferred 1324 UTXOs in 500 transactions over three blocks, speculating that the problem may have stemmed from insufficient random number entropy during wallet generation.
Wizardsardine CEO Kevin Loaec believes the vulnerability may be related to a low-entropy random number generator in a software library, security chip, or specific device batch or firmware version. Attackers could potentially use AI-generated scripts to brute-force the affected wallets. Currently, there is no conclusive evidence linking this fund transfer directly to the Coldcard Mk3 vulnerability.

Odaily Planet Daily reports that Canadian Bitcoin hardware manufacturer Coinkite has warned Coldcard Mk3 signing device users to migrate funds from wallets containing mnemonic phrases generated by the affected firmware. Coinkite stated that mnemonic phrases generated by Mk3 firmware versions 4.0.1 and later, released in March 2021, may put funds at risk, with the impact extending to version 5.0.3, which ultimately supports Mk3. Coinkite claims that Mk4, Q, and Mk5 are unaffected; affected users should generate new mnemonic phrases on unaffected devices, verify backups and receiving addresses, send small test transactions first, and then migrate the remaining funds. The company stated that the investigation is ongoing and a formal technical review will be released. Bitcoin security experts are also examining an unexplained centralized transfer involving 594.48 BTC, worth approximately $38.3 million, in a single-signature address. AnchorWatch CEO and co-founder Rob Hamilton stated that 1,324 unspent transaction outputs were transferred in 500 transactions within three block windows, with 562 BTC subsequently aggregated to another address. Wizardsardine CEO Kevin Loaec stated that the current hypothesis is that a low-entropy random number generator caused insufficient randomness in the mnemonic phrases of some wallets, and the related flaws may originate from software libraries, security elements, specific device batches, or firmware versions. He added that this hypothesis has not yet been confirmed, and some wallets that only had a portion of their funds transferred may still face the risk of further theft.
