BlockBeats reported on August 18th that crypto KOL Ansem announced the launch of Ansem.io, a Solana token issuance platform for the ANSEM token community. Users can create tokens on the platform and trade them from the first day of listing, while also participating in the community index Z500. All tokens issued on the platform are created using Pump.fun and can run on the Solana mainnet from generation, aiming to provide new tokens with greater exposure and liquidity through community mechanisms.

The platform states that each token issuance incorporates a community airdrop mechanism, automatically reserving a portion of the initial purchase funds for each token for the community and distributing it in the same transaction where the token is created. Furthermore, the platform introduces a tiered mechanism based on ANSEM burning. Project teams can unlock Gold and Diamond tiers by permanently burning a certain amount of ANSEM; higher tier issuances require greater investment from the project team.

The platform also launched the Z500 Index and the Boost mechanism for real-time ranking of community tokens, allowing users to improve project rankings through Boost. The platform stated that it hopes to further align the interests of project ANSEM holders through mechanisms such as token airdrops, ANSEM burning, and community ranking, providing community exposure for new tokens while building its own project selection and incentive system.

BlockBeats reported on August 18 that South Korea denied reports that it was discussing semiconductors as its first strategic investment in the United States. The South Korean presidential office stated on Tuesday, "The claim that the two countries discussed semiconductors as a candidate for their first strategic investment project is untrue." The presidential office did not disclose details of negotiations between Seoul and Washington regarding the investment commitment.

Previously, the JoongAng Ilbo reported that South Korea's first investment project, which it had planned to announce later this month, faced uncertainty due to Washington's sudden pursuit of investment in U.S. memory chip facilities.

According to the report, this request became a key point of discussion at a closed-door trade meeting held at the presidential palace on August 13. South Korea initially listed the energy sector as a priority for its first major investment in the United States. Officials at the meeting generally believed that investing in memory chip factories in the United States was not realistic, because Samsung Electronics and SK Hynix had already pledged to invest at least $880 billion in building chips and data centers.

Starting August 18th, all staking positions and staking rewards on supporting chains will be automatically unstakinged or withdrawn and returned to the original deposited wallet address; staking functionality will then be suspended.

With the closure of its operations, Printr has confirmed that it will not be holding a token generation event (TGE) or airdrop. The team stated that it understands the community members' expectations for these plans and regrets that these arrangements cannot be fulfilled. After August 31, the Printr application interface will be taken offline, and the platform will no longer support the issuance of new tokens.

Printr also emphasized that the tokens issued through the platform are independent on-chain assets, not held or controlled by Printr, and will continue to exist on the relevant blockchain.
