A man has been arrested for trespassing into the enclosure of Moo Deng, the famous pygmy hippopotamus, at the Khao Kheow Open Zoo in Thailand. The zoo posted on Facebook on March 17 that photos circulating on social media showed an intruder entering Moo Deng's enclosure around 5 pm that day. The man was subsequently subdued by security personnel and handed over to the police. The zoo told the public that Moo Deng and the other hippos were unharmed, but may have been slightly frightened by the close contact with the intruder.
