According to BlockBeats, on July 21, Selini Capital requested the unstaking of 504,000 HYPE tokens, worth $31.7 million. This address hosted the HIP-3 Dreamcash market. Following the announcement of the market's closure, Selini is unstaking the HYPE required to deploy and maintain the market, having profited nearly $20 million from this "investment."

According to BlockBeats, on July 21st, Strategy founder Michael Saylor stated that attempting to change Bitcoin rules simply because of disagreements with how others use Bitcoin is a nationalist impulse that runs counter to the Bitcoin community's principles of freedom, property rights, free markets, and Austrian economics. BIP-110 essentially enforces "monetary purity" through legal means, which is inconsistent with Bitcoin's core decentralized philosophy.

On the 19th, Michael Saylor opposed BIP-110, stating that its governance risks outweighed the problems it attempted to solve. He argued that the proposal's attempt to restrict currently valid transaction uses for which fees are being paid through consensus rules could escalate disputes over uses such as data storage to protocol-level rules.

BIP-110 plans to add seven consensus restrictions within its approximately one-year validity period, including limiting the length of new script public keys, the size of some push data and witness items, and disabling some Taproot extension paths. It also lists 110 reasons for opposing BIP-110. The author opposes the proposal's use of a 55% miner signal threshold, arguing that it is significantly lower than BIP-9's 95% standard, and that the removal of regular timeouts and FAILED states could increase coordination errors, chain splits, and market uncertainty.

Saylor believes that tools such as block space fees, node forwarding policies, miner strategies, pruning, and Layer 2 can address related issues without altering consensus. He emphasizes that even if the rules are only temporarily effective, the governance precedents established may persist for a long time, therefore "the proposed governance solutions are more dangerous than the problems themselves."
