Drep 计划打造一条高性能的公有链，构建出一个完整、开放、开发者以及用户体验友好生态系统，提供一套兼具灵活性、易用性和用户无感化的解决方案。
Drep 采用了主链与子链的双层结构，主链主要负责维护子链的安全性；而子链则负责DApp 的开发运行，同时也能够为企业服务，帮助企业开发基于主链的自有区块链系统。同时，在子链上可以使用多种主链提供的功能。除此之外，Drep 还提出了智能管道技术，其作用是在区块链虚拟机和外部应用之间传输数据，用于提升批量数据处理能力，提高网络中部分功能的效率。
为了降低开发成本，Drep 研发了API、Plug-in（插件）以及针对垂直行业的SDK，用于支持DApp 开发团队一键发布多公链资产，支持版本内置钱包以及资产交易平台，基于共享Drep ID获取多公链用户，无感转化各类数字资产持有者成为平台用户。
