WebX Conference Returns for Third Year as Japan Strengthens Web3 Position
WebX, Japan's flagship Web3 conference, will return for its third edition August 25-26 at the Prince Park Tower Tokyo, bringing together over 15,000 attendees from nearly 100 countries under the theme "Connecting the Nodes, Beyond the Screen."
The conference, produced by CoinPost, Japan's leading crypto media outlet, reflects the country's growing prominence in the global Web3 landscape as Tokyo positions itself as a regulatory-friendly alternative to other major financial centers grappling with cryptocurrency oversight.
More than 200 speakers are confirmed for this year's program, including Caroline D. Pham, Acting Chairman of the U.S. Commodity Futures Trading Commission; Andrea Baglioni, Head of Capital at Solana Foundation; Arthur Hayes, CIO of Maelstrom; and Nischint Sanghavi, Head of Digital Currencies for Asia Pacific at Visa.
The two-day event will feature multiple specialized stages including the BitLending Stage, UPCX Stage, Bitcoin.jp Stage, UXLINK Stage, and Fireside Chat Stage. Beyond traditional panel discussions, WebX 2025 will offer over 100 satellite events across Tokyo, along with cultural experiences including Japanese tea ceremonies and networking spaces.
Title sponsors include major Japanese crypto exchange Bitbank, financial services giant SBI Holdings, and international platforms TRON and Gate.
