6月2日消息，随着比特币价格暴跌，以及资本市场变得不那么友好，比特币矿工正在抛售他们开采的比特币。比特币挖矿服务公司Compass Mining引援CoinMetrics的数据在一份研究报告中写道：进入交易所的矿工流量已达到1月份以来的最高点，价格上一次大幅下跌，再加上难度向下调整，矿工的盈利能力似乎遇到了瓶颈，不愿关机的矿工可以寻求在债务或股票市场筹集资金或出售比特币资产。（CoinDesk）
