Quant has emerged as one of the strongest-performing major altcoins after a rapid rally pushed the token back toward levels last seen in 2021. QNT is trading around $290 after gaining 15% on Tuesday and another 8% on Wednesday, placing the psychologically important $300 level within reach.

The latest Quant price prediction is being shaped by more than price momentum. Quant is taking center stage at SWIFT’s Sibos 2026 event alongside Capgemini, while its recently announced work with The Clearing House has strengthened the tokenization narrative surrounding the network. At the same time, record derivatives activity and renewed whale movements suggest volatility could remain elevated following QNT’s near-vertical advance.

Quant Takes Center Stage at Sibos 2026

Quant’s latest rally follows growing attention around its role in tokenized banking infrastructure. The protocol recently announced that The Clearing House, which is owned by 25 major US banks, selected Quant to provide infrastructure for a tokenized deposit network.

The planned network is expected to launch in the first half of 2027, making the development more relevant to Quant’s longer-term adoption story than its immediate network activity. Still, the announcement has triggered a sharp repricing of QNT as traders assess the potential significance of Quant’s technology within institutional payments and settlement.

Attention has now shifted to Sibos 2026, where Quant and Capgemini are demonstrating an “Agentic Treasury Control Tower.” The system combines Capgemini AI agents with Quant’s tokenized deposits to address treasury liquidity shortfalls.

The demonstration is designed to show how smaller liquidity shortfalls could be resolved automatically based on factors such as account balances, currencies, and market conditions. Larger transactions would continue to require human approval before execution. The use case puts Quant at the intersection of two major financial technology themes, tokenization and agentic AI.

Market activity has accelerated alongside those developments. QNT futures Open Interest reached a record $167.93 million, surpassing the previous peak of $158.80 million. Rising Open Interest alongside higher prices indicates that traders are adding substantial leveraged exposure to the move, potentially amplifying volatility in either direction.

Whale Activity Adds Risk After QNT’s Explosive Rally

The strength of the rally has also brought dormant Quant holders back into the market. Two wallets that had remained inactive for more than three years recently moved substantial amounts of QNT, including transfers to major cryptocurrency exchanges.

One wallet deposited 8,250 QNT worth approximately $1.88 million into Binance. Another moved 34,200 QNT worth roughly $8.05 million and subsequently transferred 9,000 QNT to Coinbase and Kraken.

Exchange deposits do not necessarily mean the tokens will be sold, but the timing is notable after QNT’s rapid appreciation. The token climbed roughly 287% over a seven-day period and briefly reached $373 on Binance, its highest level since September 2021.

Broader whale activity has also reached unusual levels. Santiment recorded 645 QNT transactions worth at least $100,000 in a single day, the highest reading in the dataset cited. The increase confirms that large holders are considerably more active, although transaction counts alone cannot distinguish accumulation from distribution.

Network activity has expanded sharply as well. New addresses reached 7,516 on September 27, compared with 351 on September 24, while active addresses increased from 2,064 to 14,458 over the same period. The delayed surge suggests that much of the speculative and retail response followed the initial Clearing House announcement rather than occurring immediately when the news broke.

$300 Is the Immediate Test

From a technical perspective, QNT remains firmly bullish despite increasingly stretched momentum conditions. The token is trading around $290 and sits well above its 50-day, 100-day, and 200-day exponential moving averages at approximately $99.18, $83.12, and $77.11.

That separation illustrates the magnitude of the recent breakout, but it also shows how far QNT has moved away from its longer-term trend levels. The daily Relative Strength Index is around 81, placing the token deep in overbought territory. Meanwhile, MACD remains strongly positive with expanding histograms, showing that bullish momentum has not yet faded.

The immediate hurdle is $300. A sustained move above this psychological level would keep attention on the recent $373 peak and potentially bring QNT’s previous record high near $430 back into view.

The weekly structure reinforces the significance of the move. QNT has reclaimed the 78.6% Fibonacci retracement level near $258.80, measured between its previous all-time high around $430 and record low near $40.10. Holding above $258.80 would preserve the current breakout structure and leave the previous record high as a major longer-term target.

However, the same level represents an important downside marker. A decisive loss of $258.80 would weaken the current setup and could trigger a deeper retracement after the token’s rapid advance. Given the overbought RSI, record Open Interest, and movement of dormant QNT toward exchanges, traders may face substantial volatility even if the broader trend remains positive.

CoinCodex Quant Price Prediction

According to the latest CoinCodex Quant price prediction , QNT could consolidate around the $300 region during the final months of 2026 before potentially entering another expansion phase in 2027. The forecast sees QNT averaging approximately $313 in October, $322 in November, and $317 in December, with a potential year-end high near $350. This suggests the token could spend the remainder of 2026 establishing support following its recent explosive rally.

The outlook strengthens in early 2027, with QNT projected to average around $354 in January and potentially reach $373 in February. Momentum could then cool during the spring, as average prices retreat toward $325 in March, $312 in April, and roughly $305 in May. This would represent a broader consolidation period before another potential bullish move.

The strongest phase of the forecast arrives during the summer. QNT is projected to average around $395 in June while potentially reaching $446, before average prices climb above $420 in July and August. September carries the highest projected price at approximately $449.52, representing potential upside of roughly 55% from the current level around $290.

A move toward $450 would also take QNT beyond its previous all-time high near $430, making the summer of 2027 the most bullish period in the forecast. CoinCodex projects some cooling afterward, with the average price falling toward $365 in October 2027. Overall, the forecast points to near-term consolidation, renewed strength in early 2027, and a potentially larger breakout during the second half of the year.
