Polygon Founders: Will Burn 25 million POL, Aiming for 1-Millisecond On-Chain Confirmation

Odaily Planet Daily News: Polygon co-founder Sandeep posted that POL (formerly MATIC) remains "the most underestimated and neglected project." According to his introduction, the POL community has accumulated and permanently destroyed 100 million POL through on-chain revenue, accounting for about 1% of the total supply, with an additional approximately 25 million POL to be destroyed, which is currently being accumulated. Sandeep also stated that Polymarket has launched perpetual contracts on Polygon; with recent upgrades, Polygon PoS is gradually developing into a more advanced blockchain, and it is expected that in the future, 1 millisecond confirmation time can be achieved through block flow. In addition, OMS will soon enable Polygon to add about 1 million transaction processing capacity per day.
