CLARITY has added self-custodied token protection clauses to prevent tokens from being deemed lost property due to inactivity on-chain.

According to Odaily Planet Daily, Galaxy's research director posted on the X platform that many people have overlooked an important new feature of CLARITY: self-custodied tokens are protected and will not be considered "lost" under unclaimed property laws due to on-chain inactivity or dormancy, and federal law will take precedence over state law. He also stated that Noah Doe would not want to see this.
