PANews 4月23日消息，据中国新闻周刊报道，广东一名19岁女大学生4月10日赴泰国参加泼水节后失联，落地后被陌生男子控制并辗转带至泰缅边境三佛塔地区，疑似被转卖至缅甸电诈园区。4月13日家属接到自称“买家”的男子来电，称以2.9万U币购人并索要3万U币（USDT）赎金（约20万元人民币）。家属付款后对方多次以“园区只进不出”等理由拖延放人。警方已于4月15日立案侦查，教育部门介入，当前对方称可放人但未提供具体位置，双方仍在协商。
