国家安全部微信公众号发文指出，在数字化浪潮下，生物特征识别技术凭借其准确性与便捷性迅速普及，广泛应用于社会生活各领域。通过这一技术，面容、指纹、虹膜、体态、步态等生物数据可被快速采集、分析、存储和识别，在为公众生活带来便利的同时，其数据采集环节潜藏的失泄密风险也不容忽视。
据公开信息显示，有境外公司以发放加密货币代币为诱饵，在全球范围内诱导用户扫描并提交虹膜信息，随后将所收集的生物数据源进行转移。此类行为不仅对个人信息安全构成严重威胁，更可能危害国家安全。
