The U.S. State Department spokesperson urged all United Nations member states to enforce existing sanctions against North Korea, prevent funding for its weapons programs, and stated that coordinated unilateral sanctions are a powerful tool in disrupting the flow of funds for weapons proliferation. The spokesperson did not disclose whether investigation results have been shared with South Korea or if bilateral consultations on additional sanctions have taken place. Previously, the FBI had attributed the recent Binance hack incident to North Korean hackers.
