Zama , the renowned DeFi confidentiality protocol, is expanding access to next-gen DeFi yield opportunities. In this respect, Zama is reportedly introducing sixteen exclusive curated vaults dealing with five prominent curators and five asset classes.
As per Zama’s official announcement, the new initiative also takes into account the Zama Swap protocol’s official release. The development takes place after Zama’s effective launch of the confidential $USDC Prime vault with Steakhouse Financial and Morpho in June this year.
Zama Unveils 16 Confidential DeFi Yield Vaults for 4 Assets to Expand Institutional Access
Zama mentioned that the new expansion is set to provide the institutional allocators, active market members, and corporate treasuries with access to comprehensive yield on-chain. This does not require the public revelation of the users’ strategies or holdings. The latest sixteen vaults are currently available for user deposits via the Zama App beginning on the 15th of September. The launch combines Armitage by Flowdesk, Wintermute, Bitwise, and RockawayX with Steakhouse Financial as curators within the unique vault network.
Particularly, the sixteen vaults cover diverse assets, taking into account $USDC, $TGBP, $AUSD, and $USDT, widening the asset range for the new confidential DeFi strategies. Additionally, the offering takes into account twelve hybrid vaults along with four new vaults. With hybrid vaults, users can confidentially enter into the curated strategies.
At the same time, it lets users retain the core vault’s strategy, risk profile, and liquidity. Steakhouse’s curated Prime USDT vault is a notable example in this respect. Simultaneously, the 4 vaults allow confidential use without any openly accessible equivalents. The respective expansion comes after the confidential Steakhouse USDC Prime vault’s launch in June.

According to Zama, the Zama Swap Protocol’s launch focuses on enabling confidential asset exchanges. With it, clients can swap between different confidential assets, such as vault share positions, $cTGBP, $cAUSD, $cUSDT, and $cUSDC.
Moreover, institutional clients can anticipate more flexibility in the management of positions while restricting the on-chain exposure of commercially sensitive data. Overall, the September rollout offers a model for broadening the confidential DeFi network through 2026 as well as 2027, taking into account more curators, distribution entities, institutional custody inclusions, and asset classes.
