At 8:30 PM tonight, the third-quarter GDP and September core PCE will be released simultaneously—one determining whether the economy is hot or not, the other deciding whether inflation is dead or alive; these two data points will directly determine whether interest rates will be raised in December. With the Fed's decision just落地, Wunsch provided no guidance, leaving the market to speculate based on data alone. Tonight's two reports are the ultimate judges deciding the fate of a December rate hike. Last night, many waited for the interest rate decision to clarify direction, but ended up with nothing—this was expected, as markets trade on expectations rather than outcomes, and the October Fed's decision to hold rates steady was already priced in by the market. Regarding tonight's data, my view is: GDP below expectations, core PCE also cooling down—economic weakness combined with declining inflation will immediately cool down rate hike expectations, creating a favorable window for assets like gold and cryptocurrencies. Technically, since late September, the overall trend has been a consolidation within an ascending channel, not a reversal. Therefore, in trading strategy, continue buying on dips. For Bitcoin, buy on dips around $79,500–$80,000, with a stop-loss below $79,000. Target first the midpoint of the daily channel at $83,500, and after stabilization, aim for above $86,000!
