According to BlockBeats, on August 1st, Lookonchain monitored that a former BNB Chain employee deployed the new token ASTEROID and then used four newly created wallets to buy 796.7 million ASTEROID tokens (representing 79.67% of the total supply) for $10,000.
The employee subsequently sold 718.8 million ASTEROIDs, receiving 1,103 BNBs (approximately $638,000), making a profit of $628,000.
As previously reported, BNB Chain stated that a former employee had used the original official test wallet to issue a new Meme token (referring to ASTEROID) without authorization, and legal action has been taken against them.
