According to BlockBeats, on July 27th, six months after being extradited back to Cambodia, Chen Zhi, founder of the Prince Group, was formally arrested. Chen Zhi was formally arrested on July 6th. Compared to his initial extradition, the charges against him have been reduced from concealing the proceeds of crime to include copyright infringement and intentional injury. Over several years, Chen Zhi built a global telecommunications fraud network centered around the "Golden Bay Industrial Park," amassing millions of dollars daily despite his dukedom, with a net worth of hundreds of billions of dollars. The Bitcoin seized by the United States alone is worth $15 billion (approximately 103.5 billion RMB).

The statement at the time disclosed that Chen Zhi's criminal syndicate was suspected of multiple crimes, including operating casinos, fraud, illegal business operations, and concealing criminal proceeds, and had been placed under coercive measures in accordance with the law.
