The Trump administration has publicly criticized Anthropic for hiring several former Biden administration officials and expressed dissatisfaction with its ties to liberal organizations. One example illustrates the trust issue between the two parties: Collin Burns, a former researcher at Anthropic, was originally assigned to a government AI model evaluation position, but after learning of this, senior White House officials immediately replaced him, citing the need to avoid AI company personnel directly involved in dealings with other AI companies. Furthermore, Anthropic disclosed the unauthorized access to the Mythos model last week, further intensifying regulatory scrutiny of the company.
