Prometeus Network is a secure and decentralized ecosystem designed to solve real-world problems in data brokering, created for the influential marketing, healthcare and insurance data marketplace industries. PROMs are native utility tokens within the Prometeus network and have the following use cases:
Network Consensus: After Prometeus releases the mainnet, users need to stake PROM tokens to run their Proof of Stake (PoSA) nodes in the network and participate in network consensus and receive PROM token rewards.
Fee Payment: PROM tokens are also used to pay service fees based on Prometeus applications. Currently available applications include Stoa (a decentralized data sales platform) and Ignite (a decentralized social network).
