Elk Finance Protocol went live on March 19, 2021 in its first chain (Avalanche) and on April 10, 2021 in its second chain. The first version of mainnet and more chains will be launched in the second quarter of 2021. The full main network is expected in q4, 2021. The maximum ELK supply is 42,424,242. Ten million tokens will be distributed over four years through yield agriculture. Another 10 million tokens were allocated to the Elk Insurance Fund, which provides non-permanent loss protection, and the rest to the Community Fund (20 million), team (2 million) and airdrop.
