The origins of the $DOGINME memecoin can be traced back to a Farcaster user asking decentralized social media platform founder Dan Romero (DWR) if he owned dogs.

DWR responded affirmatively: "But I have a dog in my heart."

$DOGINME is the first meme coin launched to represent the inner dog of Farcaster’s founder.

In addition to our roots on Farcaster, $DOGINME now represents a community effort to embrace and strengthen the dog within.
