Blurt is a blockchain social media platform that represents freedom of expression while offering rewards to users who post quality content. The community manages content worthy of rewards through subjective, interest-weighted voting.

It is a social network that combines social media, blogging and vlogging with blockchain-based incentives. Blurt was created based on a snapshot of steem-commissioned Proof of Equity (DPOS) Graphene blockchain, which was taken in May 2020 and then officially launched as a neutral Steem fork on July 4, 2020.
