BlockBeats news, November 3: Brazilian crypto exchange Mercado Bitcoin released the latest update on the security incident, stating that the affected assets are currently worth approximately $36.3 million, with $12.9 million frozen, and related work is ongoing.
The platform and app remain suspended until safety is confirmed; the company stated that customer assets are secure, with balances still recorded in individual accounts. Previously, the exchange had reported freezing $11 million in related assets.
