Bitcoin and Ethereum post-operation suggestions and trend analysis: 10/21
After multiple tests at the $80,000 level, Bitcoin has shown resilience. The daily Bollinger Band width has narrowed to its tightest in over two and a half years, with the market awaiting a directional breakout. As of October 20, Bitcoin is trading within the $80,000 to $84,000 range, currently around $81,500 to $83,000.
Short-term focus should be on three key factors: whether spot ETFs can resume stable net inflows; upcoming Federal Reserve policy signals and inflation data trends; and whether the structural support at $80,000 can hold. A confirmed break below $80,000 could lead to further declines toward $75,000; conversely, if it stabilizes and breaks above $84,000, upward potential may open up.
Analyst Xiao Ma's Diary trading recommendations:
Short Bitcoin at $83,500–$84,000, target $82,000–$81,500;
Short Ethereum at $2,470–$2,490, target $2,400–$2,380
