Odaily Planet Daily reports that prediction market platform Polymarket US has withdrawn two applications for contracts involving NFL players. These contracts had just been certified by the U.S. Commodity Futures Trading Commission (CFTC) but were withdrawn the day before their scheduled listing date. The platform has not yet publicly explained the reason. The contracts were intended to predict whether an NFL player participated in at least one offensive or defensive play and were settled based on official NFL game records. On the same day, Polymarket also certified Bitcoin, Ethereum, and Solana price contracts with the CFTC, all of which are paired binary options swap contracts. (Bitcoin News)
Polymarket withdrew NFL player contract applications and simultaneously certified three cryptocurrency price contracts.
