BlockBeatsによると、8月13日、オンチェーンアナリストのAi Yi氏（@ai_9684xtpa）は、6月25日以降、ある大口投資家のアドレスがWintertermuteのデポジットアドレスに合計2300BTC（総額1億4200万ドル相当）を送金したことを確認した。直近の送金は6時間前に行われた800BTCだった。資金の出所はPaxosであり、アドレスの所有者はまだ確認されていない。
