Bitcoin/Ethereum has seen narrower price fluctuations and extremely poor liquidity in recent days, with even the overall volatility lower than over the weekend. This is a sign that a breakout is imminent after a short period of consolidation. Bitcoin is generally stronger than Ethereum in the short term, while altcoins are mixed, with weak continuity between bulls and bears. Furthermore, despite record highs in US stocks and some positive news from the US-Iran relationship, the crypto market has failed to see a significant rise. The lack of upward movement despite positive news suggests further downward pressure. Looking at the daily moving averages, the price is facing resistance around 1880-1890 and 65000. Without a significant breakout and consolidation, a sustained bullish trend is unlikely. The 4-hour chart shows multiple attempts to break higher followed by pullbacks, indicating selling pressure and insufficient bullish momentum. The market has entered a short-term consolidation phase. Technically, the MACD on the 4-hour chart shows a golden cross with the DIF line crossing above the DEA line, and the MACD histogram turning positive and expanding, indicating strengthening short-term upward momentum. However, the DIF and DEA lines are still below the zero line, suggesting a continued weak overall trend. Since the previous high, the price has been consolidating sideways and fluctuating without a significant breakout, indicating a continuation pattern in the downtrend. Evening trading suggestions: Bitcoin: Short at around 64600-65000, target 62000-63000; Ethereum: Short at around 1880-1890, target 1780-1820, with further targets at 65500 and 1930.
