According to Odaily Planet Daily, HIVE Executive Chairman Frank Holmes stated that the company's 504 NVIDIA B200 GPU cluster at Bell Canada's Manitoba AI fabric generates approximately $2.90 per GPU per hour; in comparison, HIVE's Bitcoin mining rigs generate approximately $0.12 per hour. HIVE's total revenue for fiscal year 2026 reached $298 million, a 158% year-over-year increase; cryptocurrency revenue from Bitcoin mining increased by 164%. The average hashrate during the same period was 22.2 EH/s, a 290% year-over-year increase, representing approximately 3% of the Bitcoin network hashrate, and mining 2885 BTC. HIVE's BUZZ HPC division, which handles AI and high-performance computing, generated $19.5 million in revenue, a 94% increase from $10 million in the previous fiscal year. The company also signed a $220 million GPU cloud agreement with Bell and AI company Cohere and raised $75 million through a bond issuance for AI infrastructure expansion. HIVE is building a 320-megawatt AI data center in the Greater Toronto Area, which will eventually house more than 100,000 GPUs. The company says the facility could generate approximately $360 million in annualized recurring revenue if it goes live in the second half of 2027.
HIVE's fiscal year revenue grew 158% to $298 million, with AI GPUs generating approximately 24 times the hourly revenue of mining rigs.
