According to Odaily, the Russian government will ban cryptocurrency mining in eight districts of Moscow, the Moscow region, and the Kursk region starting August 15th, with the ban lasting until December 31, 2032. The restrictions apply to eight municipalities in the Kursk region and the city of Ligov, and also apply to local residents participating in mining pools and other similar activities. The relevant decree was signed by Russian Prime Minister Mikhail Mishustin and has been published.
Starting August 15, the Russian government banned cryptocurrency mining in Moscow and other areas until the end of 2032.
