Amazon surges over 15%, leading a continued rebound in US stocks; the FOMC curse strikes again with cryptocurrencies; Trump may strike Iran again this weekend.

According to BlockBeats, on August 1st, US stocks continued their rebound overnight and this morning. According to BIT (bit.com) data, among individual stocks, Amazon rose over 15%, while Apple once fell over 10%, ultimately closing down 7.35%. Additionally, Google rose 6.73%, Nvidia rose 2.93%, MetaPlatforms rose 3.28%, Microsoft rose 3.02%, and SpaceX fell 3.41%.


AI stocks also showed mixed performance, with SK Hynix closing down 3.58% and Micron down 5.93% on the US stock market. MRVL rose 2.32%, leading a broad rally in small-cap CPO concept stocks. LITE rose 2.93% and COHR rose 5.55%. Stocks held by AI gurus who had generally surged by over 20% the previous day saw widespread corrections , with NBIS only rising 1%. Storage stocks also generally declined, with SanDisk falling over 5%.


According to HTX market data, the FOMC curse struck cryptocurrencies again on Friday. Bitcoin fell over 3% overnight , currently trading at $62,988.10. Ethereum saw a relatively smaller decline, trading at $1,866.70.


In terms of news, US officials stated that Trump has ordered a new round of attacks against Iran , aiming to force Tehran to surrender. The operation could begin as early as this weekend and last for several days. Affected by this news, both Brent and WTI crude oil prices rose again on trade.xyz, with Brent crude reaching $90.574, up nearly 4% in the last 24 hours .
