Huoxun Finance reports that the Digital RMB International Operations Center signed direct participant service agreements with the first batch of 26 financial institutions in Shanghai, officially launching the branded operation of the fully upgraded cross-border settlement integrated service platform "CBETS". The original three platforms—cross-border digital payment, blockchain services, and digital assets—have been integrated into CBETS. Its technology is compatible with centralized and blockchain systems, complies with the ISO20022 message standard, and its business covers cross-border retail consumption and wholesale investment and financing settlement scenarios. The first batch of participating institutions includes overseas branches of several banks and foreign banks, and the services will cover Hong Kong, Macau, Singapore, Southeast Asia, the Middle East, South America, and other regions, facilitating cross-border trade and investment financing.
