Iranian media: Iran will only follow suit if the US fulfills its obligations.

According to a report by Iranian media Fars News, sources revealed that Iran's Supreme National Security Council, during its review of a recent memorandum of understanding, adopted a resolution based on a precise and step-by-step "interpretive theory." This theory emphasizes the history of US breaches of trust and defaults and designs specific implementation arrangements to address any delays or violations. Reportedly, in this "interpretive theory," Iran has set a corresponding "implementation step" for each obligation of the other party. In other words, the council's resolution is based on a step-by-step and conditional implementation principle, meaning that Iran will only take corresponding reciprocal measures upon actual and complete fulfillment of each obligation to the US. Otherwise, if any clause is not fulfilled, Iran's corresponding steps (including suspending the corresponding obligation) will be initiated immediately. (Jin Shi)
