Gate.com has launched its Hong Kong stock trading feature, initially covering over 1,000 Hong Kong-listed stocks.

Users who upgrade their Gate.com app to version 8.23.5 or above can directly participate in the trading of Hong Kong Stock Exchange (HKEX) listed stocks using USDT through the Gate.com platform, eliminating the need to open a separate traditional brokerage account or exchange HKD independently, thus conveniently accessing the Hong Kong stock market. The initial launch includes over 1,000 Hong Kong stocks, covering multiple core industries such as technology and internet, finance, new energy, telecommunications, consumer goods, and biomedicine, including representative companies with high market attention such as Tencent Holdings, HSBC Holdings, Xiaomi Group, Meituan, BYD, and China Mobile. Hong Kong stocks share the same stock account system as US stocks, supporting functions such as buying and selling, position management, profit and loss inquiries, and historical record viewing, providing users with a unified and efficient trading experience. Furthermore, only intraday trading is supported; pre-market and after-hours trading services are not offered. Prices, profits/losses, and portfolio value are all displayed in Hong Kong dollars (HKD), while transaction fees are converted to USDT at the real-time exchange rate and deducted.
