Huoxun Finance News, November 2nd - According to CoinDesk, the U.S. Second Circuit Court of Appeals will hear arguments next week regarding a motion for retrial by FTX founder SBF, who was previously convicted on seven different counts of conspiracy and fraud and sentenced to 25 years in prison, just two years and two days ago, when a jury unanimously found him guilty. The hearing on November 4th will reportedly give the U.S. Attorney for the Southern District of New York (now led by former SEC Chairman Jay Clayton) and SBF's new defense team (led by veteran white-collar criminal appeals attorney Alexandra Shapiro) 10 minutes each to present their arguments. During the hearing, the judges may ask questions to clarify details; however, the hearing will not re-examine the charges themselves, but rather examine whether the trial was conducted properly.
