According to Odaily Planet Daily, Haseeb Qureshi, Managing Partner of Dragonfly, stated that the price changes of on-chain pre-IPO derivatives reflect interesting market expectations regarding the valuation of AI labs. He pointed out that Jacob Coxon's previous pessimistic comments about the risks of AI actually drove up the valuations of related labs, suggesting that "scaring everyone seems to be good for business." Haseeb noted that it was not surprising that Anthropic's valuation was not significantly affected after CEO Dario Amodei proposed "slowing down the frontier race," as reducing model competition means lower training costs, thus reducing major capital expenditures. However, he questioned why Anthropic's valuation remained largely unaffected after David Sacks publicly criticized Dario, while OpenAI's valuation declined.
