Bitget, the well-known crypto exchange, has partnered with UNICEF, the worldwide organization that benefits the most disadvantaged children. In this partnership, both entities are launching an exclusive course covering blockchain-based financial education. As per Bitget’s official press release, the purpose of this module is to introduce new learners to cutting-edge digital finance and blockchain technology. So, the development merges conventional financial concepts with a broader overview of the latest technologies, contributing comprehensive blockchain expertise to assist in making these subjects more accessible.

Bitget and UNICEF Introduce Blockchain Financial Literacy Programme for Broader Awareness

Bitget and UNICEF’s new blockchain-focused financial literacy course helps learners develop practical knowledge as well as confidence amid the growing digital availability of financial systems. Particularly, the Introduction to Financial Literacy module deals with key financial concepts, taking into account blockchain basics, credit, interest rates, loans, and budgeting. At the same time, it also unveils visual materials along with quizzes to establish an engaging learning experience. Thus, participants who successfully complete the programme will be awarded a certificate as proof of formal recognition.

The curriculum of the programme also includes game-based education with the use of Neon Paycheck, which is an online game. In this game, which takes place in a futuristic city, those playing participate as a young person making daily financial choices related to income, scam avoidance, planning, and spending. The game intends to increase understanding of financial concepts by permitting learners to thoroughly check their decisions and their consequences.

Alliance Promotes Digital and Blockchain-Related Skills Among Youth

Simultaneously, the game also supports the wider focus of the Game Changers Coalition on the use of interactive experiences and video game development to spread practical skills. In this respect, Bitget’s collaboration with UNICEF takes into account blockchain-focused sections, contributing market knowledge to guarantee the presentation of material in a balanced and practical manner. Moreover, Gracy Chen, the CEO of Bitget, also appears during the module to elaborate on the crucial blockchain concepts while also indicating their link to the financial network.

While discussing this development, Gracy Chen stated that education is still important to her. Additionally, she is of the view that young learners can acquire knowledge rapidly when offered appropriate opportunities and tools. Furthermore, the programme is set to provide young people with next-gen and future-ready skills to assist them in keeping pace with the continuously evolving technological and economic environments.
