According to Odaily Planet Daily, a group of 19 interconnected Polymarket accounts made concentrated bets on the financial reports of listed companies audited by KPMG over the past few months, involving 18 KPMG clients including Wells Fargo, Home Depot, DoorDash, and General Mills. The group of accounts made 42 trades, 41 of which were profitable, achieving a 98% win rate and accumulating approximately $22,000 in profits. The funds were transferred between the 19 accounts, suggesting possible control by the same person or team. US law enforcement is investigating a KPMG employee suspected of insider trading using Polymarket, allegedly betting on whether listed companies' quarterly results would exceed market expectations. It is currently impossible to confirm a connection between the account group and the employee, and the analysis itself does not prove insider trading. KPMG stated that it has a zero-tolerance policy for trading using non-public client information and has strengthened related monitoring.
With a 98% win rate, 41 out of 42 bets placed by 19 Polymarket-linked accounts were profitable, resulting in a total profit of approximately $22,000.
