According to an article by ZachXBT published by Odaily, Rain Protocol's on-chain addresses overlap with the funding sources of failed projects such as TOMI and Data Ownership Protocol (DOP). On-chain tracking shows that Rain Protocol deployer-related addresses (0xa35e...b8bc) and TOMI team multisignature-related addresses (0xa810...d5d1) transferred funds to the same address (0xbac1...4fb0) in October 2025. Furthermore, addresses receiving DOP multisignature funds also remitted funds to this address. The report points out that projects like TOMI and DOP can be traced back to their Israeli founder, Moshe Hogeg, who was detained on suspicion of crypto fraud. Currently, Rain Protocol's total locked value on Arbitrum is $27.2 million, all in its native token, and its token price is suspected of being manipulated through the Uni V3 LP address associated with the deployers.
