The incident reconstruction, device security analysis, and real-time tracking of the fund chain have been completed, and the company has assisted the user in reporting the incident to the police and providing complete documentation. Meanwhile, Gate has contacted a professional legal team and mobilized business resources to actively communicate with Tether and relevant exchanges to try to freeze the funds involved. Regarding security mechanisms, Gate reiterates that it consistently adheres to a multi-layered protection system, including advance notification through multiple channels, initial screening by system risk control, manual four-eye verification, and strict time protection. Liveness verification is only a supplementary means, not the sole basis. The 10.x internal network IPs appearing in the logs were used by auditors during normal operations. Furthermore, after rigorous investigation, there was no data breach or misconduct by former employees in this incident, and the platform was not previously aware of some of the sensitive information provided by the applicant.
