morph

Morph, an L2 blockchain infrastructure platform, has partnered with Morpho, a decentralized lending entity, and Gauntlet, a decentralized finance (DeFi) risk management firm. The partnership aims to offer institutional-level DeFi yield to more than 125M consumers.

As Morph revealed in its official press release, the initiative is set to streamline access to diverse $BTC-backed yield strategies and lending services. For this purpose, it is integrating a cutting-edge DeFi framework into compatible user platforms.

Institutional yield is coming to 125+ million users of @bitget and @BitgetWallet through Morph.

Together with @gauntlet_xyz , @Morpho , @redstone_defi ,and @chainlink ,Morph is helping bring BTC-backed lending and yield strategies to Bitget’s global user base.

Morph Provides $USDC and $BTC Yields to Bitget Consumers

Morph’s multiparty partnership includes Gauntlet, Morpho, Chainlink, Bitget, RedStone, and Bitget Wallet. This joint effort is poised to let users earn yield while requiring no management of underlying technical complications. So, these entities focus on establishing an inclusive financial experience on-chain. Via Bitget Wallet and Bitget Earn, consumers can leverage professionally organized yield strategies from interfaces that they use regularly.

This removes the requirement of manually interacting with diverse DeFi protocols, vaults, and bridges. In this respect, Morph plays the role of an L2 infrastructure that offers cost-efficiency, scalability, and speed needed to support institutional-scale financial products. The collaboration underscores another move toward increasing the accessibility of DeFi among the mainstream crypto consumers while preserving on-chain transparency.

The initial phase of this partnership unveils a couple of yield products. Consumers will be permitted to deposit their Bitcoin ($BTC) holdings into a vault with the target of up to 3% yearly yield. Additionally, another $USDC vault will target almost 18% yearly yield.

Expanding Real-World Financial Utilities Through Cutting-Edge DeFi Infrastructure

Instead of requiring active user engagement for collateral monitoring or lending position management, Gauntlet handles the strategies. The respective approach permits consumers to utilize refined DeFi strategies via a streamlined investment experience. At the same time, Morpho delivers a decentralized lending framework.

In the meantime, Chainlink offers cross-chain reserve verification and communication via the robust Proof of Reserve technology and Cross-Chain Interoperability Protocol (CCIP). Moving on, RedStone provides decentralized price feeds, Oracle Extractable Value (OEV) recapture functionality, and risk ratings on-chain.

According to Morph, the next phase of the growing DeFi expansion will rely on enhanced consumer experience, risk infrastructure, and distribution, along with more efficient blockchain protocols. By merging institutional lending, L2-scalability, effective strategy management, Bitget’s worldwide distribution network, and protected oracle services.

The collaboration attempts to make next-gen DeFi products broadly accessible to numerous daily users. Ultimately, this endeavor aligns with Morph’s wider objective of facilitating real-world financial use cases, including settlements, payments, lending, yield products, and more.
