tomi has created a complete alternative to the World Wide Web that combines the best of Web2 and Web3 technologies for a privacy-preserving, autonomous and self-financing Internet. Anyone can access this parallel network through the tomi browser, thereby getting rid of the monitoring and control of the large organizations that already dominate the World Wide Web. Rather than reinventing the entire infrastructure, tomi takes the basic working building blocks of the network and complements them with governance, encryption, identity and privacy layers, allowing those using tomiNet to become stewards of the network through a direct democratic DAO.
