Tidal Finance

Tidal Finance, a Balancer-like insurance marketplace based in Polkadot, has the capability to create custom insurance pools for one or more assets in multiple chains, maximizing capital efficiency by rewarding pool creators with a portion of their deposit returns. The public market nature of Tidal Finance will greatly improve capital efficiency by facilitating competition between different pools of capital. Users can create a vault by selecting one or more contracts.

TIDAL tokens will be allocated to liquidity providers and insurance buyers based on the amount of money bet and the amount of insurance purchased. TIDAL tokens are designed to motivate TIDAL users and manage the various processes on the platform (insurance pool policy, claims assessment, etc.).
