NXPC is the foundational token of the MapleStory Universe ecosystem, designed to capture and represent the value of in-game activities and overall ecosystem growth. It has multiple roles: as a utility token for transaction fees within the Layer 1 network, a medium of exchange for purchasing NFT prop baskets, and as a reserve asset for NESO (NESO is the game currency pegged to NXPC). Players can convert NXPC to NESO for prop upgrades, while creators receive NXPC as an incentive for creating value based on a transparent halving distribution model.
