Project Information

Major components in the MUX protocol suite:

(1) MUX leveraged trading protocol - a decentralized leveraged trading protocol that provides zero price impact transactions, up to 100 times leverage, no counterparty risk for traders and an optimized on-chain trading experience. Traders will trade with the MUX native mining pool (MUXLP mining pool) on the leveraged trading protocol.

(2) MUX Leveraged Trading Aggregator - a sub-protocol in the MUX protocol family, which automatically selects the most suitable liquidity path for traders while meeting the requirements of opening positions, minimizing the overall cost. Aggregators can also provide additional margin for traders to leverage up to 100x on the underlying protocol of the aggregation. The MUX protocol is currently deployed on Arbitrum, BNB Chain, Avalanche, and Fantom, and will be expanded to more networks in the future.

(3) The MUX DAO multi-signature currently manages the MUX Protocol smart contracts, covering general operations, maintenance and emergency actions.

(4) Governance involves two types of permissions: those that require timelocks and those that do not. For general operational actions, a time lock is required; all proposed changes will only take effect after the 48 hour time lock. Maintenance operations do not affect core protocol functionality, so they do not require timelocks. Emergency actions can take effect immediately and do not require a time lock; these actions may occur during a security incident or other event that could seriously harm LPs and traders.
